The Tonemaster is designed to push your amplifier, I recommend starting with your amp on the edge of breakup then letting the Tonemaster push it over the edge. The Tonemaster has a continuously variable tone filter which allows you to dial in a treble booster tone at 11 on the dial or a full range boost at 0, and of course everything in between, your ideal tone is in there just waiting for you to let it out.
