Rangebooster

The Cooltone Rangebooster is a treble booster modelled on the classic Dallas Rangemaster circuit used by so many of rocks biggest stars. The Cooltone version features a selected nos OC44 germanium transistor as per the original, point to point wiring, and to dispense with the need for a battery a charge pump power circuit which generates the minus 9 volts power supply required by the vintage pnp germanium transistor from the plus 9 volts power required by the modern pedals on your board. Set your amp to the edge of breakup and use the rangebooster to give it a push, you will love the classic rock tones you now have under your fingers.
